Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, cooked sausage, and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the casserole is golden brown and set in the center.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
