Preparation
- Grill the chicken until cooked through, then slice it into strips.
- Spread a layer of fresh pesto on each tortilla or wrap bread.
- Layer the grilled chicken on top of the pesto.
- Add cheese and any additional toppings like lettuce or tomato if desired.
- Roll up the wrap tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
- Optionally, grill the wrap for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in an airtight container for up to two days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave when ready to eat. You can also use leftover grilled chicken to save time.
