Ingredients

For the Sweet Potato Fries
  • 2 medium Sweet potatoes Washed and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika can be used for extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds warmth and depth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for flavor
For the Guacamole

  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice Can substitute with lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped cilantro Optional, for added brightness
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped jalapeño Optional, for spice

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into even-sized fries.
Cooking the Fries
  1. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and salt until well coated.
  2. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re crispy and golden.
Making the Guacamole
  1. While the fries are baking, mash the avocado in a bowl.
  2. Add lime juice, salt, chopped cilantro, and jalapeño (if using). Mix until smooth or to your preference.
Serving
  1. Once the fries are done, serve them hot alongside the creamy guacamole.

Notes

For the best results, ensure your fries are cut evenly and don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. Soaking the fries in cold water for 30 minutes can enhance crispiness. Store leftover fries in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
