Preparation
  1. If making from scratch, roll out the dough and place it in a tart or pie pan. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling.
  2. Preheat your oven and bake the crust for about 10-12 minutes until it’s lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
Making the filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cream filling evenly over the cooled crust.
  2. Slice fresh strawberries and arrange them beautifully on top of the cream filling.
  3. If using, dollop whipped cream over the strawberries for that extra indulgence.
Chill
  1. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set before serving.

Let your ingredients soften for a lump-free filling. Don’t skip chilling the tart to ensure it sets properly. You can experiment with other fruits like blueberries or raspberries for different flavors.
