  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro Optional; offers a refreshing herbal note.
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato, diced Adds freshness and sweetness; can be omitted for purer guacamole.
  • 1 tablespoon Onion, finely chopped Red onion is milder; green onions are a great alternative.

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl. Discard the skin.
  2. Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocado to your desired creaminess.
  3. Squeeze in some fresh lime juice to keep the avocado from browning.
  4. Stir in a pinch of salt, freshly chopped cilantro, diced tomato, and finely chopped onion.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  6. Enjoy your guacamole right away.

Notes
