- In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add about 10 fresh mint leaves along with honey. Gently muddle to release the oils.
- Pour in the bourbon over the muddled mint and honey mixture. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
- Take a julep cup or highball glass and fill it with crushed ice, piling it high.
- Strain the bourbon and mint mixture over the crushed ice. Add more ice on top if desired.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and if desired, a lemon wedge.
- Sip and enjoy the refreshing goodness!
Notes
Muddle gently to not shred the mint too much. Adjust sweetness based on preference. Chill the glass for a frosty drink.
