Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until well blended.
- Cut your loaf in half lengthwise. For individual pieces, slice into smaller halves or quarters.
Baking
- Generously slather the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
- If adding cheese, sprinkle it over the buttered bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, then cut into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra crispy finish, broil the garlic bread for an additional 1-2 minutes but watch carefully to prevent burning. Leftover garlic bread can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
