For the balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Agave syrup can be used for a vegan option.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Roasting
  1. Roast in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until tender.
Balsamic Glaze
  1. While the asparagus is roasting, in a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted asparagus before serving.

Notes
