  • 3/4 cup milk dairy or non-dairy, e.g., almond, soy, oat

Method
 

  1. In a jar with a lid or a small container, combine the rolled oats and milk.
  2. Stir thoroughly to ensure all oats are submerged and no dry clumps remain. This helps prevent a gummy texture.
  3. Place the jar or container in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the oats to soften and absorb the liquid.

Notes
