Ingredients

For the Ribs
  • 2 pounds Pork spare ribs Look for well-marbled ribs for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite bottled BBQ sauce or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar Can substitute with white vinegar if needed.
Seasoning Mix
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Can swap with fresh minced garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Can leave out for a more straightforward flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Regular paprika works if you don't have smoked.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar Can use honey or maple syrup as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Essential for seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

Finishing Touch

  2. Broil on high for about 5 minutes, or until caramelized and bubbly.
  3. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
