Ingredients
  

Pasta and Chicken
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta Use your favorite type of pasta.
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust based on your spice preference.
Vegetables and Flavorings
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets Can substitute with other vegetables.
  • 4 tbsp butter Divided into two for cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece lemon, juiced Fresh lemon preferred.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional) Recommended for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add the broccoli and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta, chicken, and lemon juice. Toss to combine and season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve this dish warm, with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the dish cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove over low heat. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months, thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
