- In a medium bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs until well combined.
Marination
- Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor (do not exceed 24 hours).
Cooking
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill, bake, or pan-sear until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Optional: Reserve the marinade to brush on while cooking (boil it first if using for basting).
Serving
- Rest the chicken for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
