  • 2 pieces ripe avocados, sliced Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced Or a dairy-free alternative if needed.
  • to taste Fresh basil leaves
Dressing Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar Can substitute with red wine vinegar or lemon juice.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Arrange slices of avocado, tomato, and mozzarella on a serving platter, alternating the ingredients.
  2. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within a day or two to avoid browning of avocados.
